More from Chengdu Day 2 :)

Hi everyone ,

It was a quiet, fairly restful day ... But that's ok because we have been pretty busy and all of us at different times, a little tired:(

We woke up around 7:30 this morning and got ready and went to breakfast . After breakfast we went back to our room but they were cleaning it , so we decided to go down stairs to the Hotel lobby and face time with our family:) We are missing all of them very much and were just so excited to get to see them and spend a little time talking to them:)

After face timing we went back up stairs and they were finished cleaning our rooms, so we got our gifts ready for tomorrow and got most of Benjamin's things organized:)

After getting ready we went on a long walk around our hotel to check out the area. While we were on our walk we saw some markets and shops with ( different and interesting things as far as meat goes!!! ) There were some interesting smells as well going along with the interesting meat sites!!! :)

After the walk we came back to the hotel and had some down time, talking, laughing and coming up with questions that we are going to ask Benjamin's caregivers tomorrow. Some of us napped, and then we went downstairs to the Hotel Restaurant and had some pizza for dinner.... We LOVED it !

We are now in our hotel rooms and are getting ready for bed and preparing a little more for our Big Day Tomorrow!!!

Tomorrow is the day we get Benjamin!!!!! Yay, Thank You Jesus!!!!! Please pray for his bonding and his emotions as tonight he is on an overnight 13 hour train ride!!! Can't even imagine how he is feeling right now..... His whole life is about to change and everything and everyone he has ever known will be changing as well.... That's a lot for a little boy who is six years old to handle:(

He and we will definitely need all of your prayers:):):)

We will be meeting him about 10:00 am China time on January 20 th, which will be 8:00 pm on the 19th in Milwaukee:):):)

We are So Excited and can't wait to share some pics with you!!!!

Hi, it's Brie real quick:) Today is gotcha day and my parents will probably be posting later on but if they still have tech issues we probably won't be able to post until Tuesday afternoon our time. We briefly facetimed with them shortly after they got Ben:) When we facetimed, Ben was all smiles and having fun with the girls! Please pray for their bonding time and communication the next few days! So exciting!!! Thanks all:)
