Hong Kong - Day 2

Today was our first full day in Hong Kong!!! After going to bed at 10:00pm last night, we all woke up at like 3:00 am this morning unable to go back to sleep!!! We decided to get up and get showers and get started for the day since we only have two full days in Hong Kong:) We were actually walking around the hotel waiting for the breakfast buffet to open:) For those of you who know Mark... He was pretty excited that we were early to EVERYTHING today!!! We had a great breakfast, ( not too many different and strange things on the menu!) and then headed to the pier where we bought tokens to take the Star Ferry across Victoria's Harbour. The scenery in and around the Harbour was so beautiful... We all felt truly blessed to be half way around the world visiting this wonderful city of Hong Kong:)
After crossing the Harbour , we had to take a taxi to the place where we bought our tickets to take the Tram up to Victoria's Peak! It was so fun riding the Cable Car Tram up, and up, and up until we finally reached the top of the peak!!!  I am not sure that anything could have prepared us for the BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL view that we were able to see once at the top of Victoria's Peak!!!! The view was SPECTACULAR and we spent quite a bit of time taking pictures and just Soaking In the Majestic Beauty of God's Amazing Creation!!! It truly was one of those times where you can hardly speak because you are so AWESTRUCK by the INDESCRIBABLE BEAUTY that you are beholding with your own eyes :):):) I seriously could have stayed there all day, and we did stay a pretty long time.... We spent quite a bit of time on the observatory deck and then we found somewhere to eat ( Mc Donalds) and then also did some shopping :) After awhile we reluctantly took the Tram back down the mountain and visited a Starbucks for something to drink, went back to our Hotel for a rest, and then finally explored a little more around Hong Kong:) We are staying by this huge Mall and so we went there and found a Pizza place and had dinner there:):):) I was thrilled... I Love Pizza!!!
It has been so great for Mark and I to have a little one on one time with Abbie:) The three if us had so much fun together today!!!! We are looking forward to meeting our little Samuel, but in the meantime we are taking full advantage of the Beauty of this place and the time we have together!!!! So, thank You Lord for this wonderful day that we enjoyed together here in Hong Kong.... And Thank You everyone back at home for praying.... We love you all so much and are so grateful for each and every one of you and for your prayers that are sustaining us and carrying us on this Journey to Samuel Mark!!!

Ok, I have to share a P.S. with all of you:) Only because our GOD is Awesome and you need to be reminded of that today!!!! When we woke up super early today, it was raining and dark and the clouds were so think and totally covering Victoria's Peak!!! So, we spent some time in prayer praising The Lord  for watching over us and protecting us thus far on this journey :) At the end of our prayer we asked HIM if he might clear the clouds, or give us some sunshine for our visit to Victoria's Peak today....It was a leap of faith because we were like why should we even go today... You can't even see it because of the cloud cover!!!! Well, I am telling you... GOD answered our prayer.... We did not have sunshine but those low, dark clouds dissipated long enough for us to ride up the mountain, see the Awesomness of GOD and seriously, as soon as we set down at McDonald's to eat.... The dark, thick cloud cover came back!!!! We were AMAZED and ASTOUNDED that GOD loved us so much that HE answered our prayer and delighted our hearts in beholding HIS Beautiful Gift to us:):):) Now some of you may think that the cloud clearing was a coincidence.... But we KNOW it wasn't.... It was a GIFT from GOD!!!!! Also, in the building at the top of the peak houses gift shops and of all things A Pre-school..... The name of the Pre-school is.... Sunshine House International Pre-school.... So we did even get a little sunshine at the top of The Peak!!!! Thank you LORD!!!
