When There Is Room in Your Heart, There Is Always Room in Your Home!: Hong Kong...Day 1

Hi Everyone,

Wow, we are so thankful to be beginning our journey to Samuel and can’t wait to share details with all of you. :)Even though it is emotional saying goodbye to all of our children who will remain at home, we know that the time will go by quickly and we will be back home before they even get used to us being gone!!! Yesterday, ( June 12^th, 2013 ) we left early out of the Milwaukee airport to fly to Chicago…our flight from Chicago to Hong Kong left pretty much on time and was all in all a smooth, good flight……even if it was 15hrs. long !!! Abbie was in Heaven as she was able to watch 4 movies on the flight. :) I, on the other hand, took the opportunity to walk around the plane and scope out and see if there were any other families traveling for adoption. :) Yay, I found another family and spent some time chatting with them….they are also with BAAS and we will see them again in Guangzhou. :) We arrived safely in Hong Kong and have a beautiful Harbor View out of our hotel window. :) We are trying to get some rest and get over jet lag , but have only been able to sleep a few hours!!!! We are excited to see some sights today in Hong Kong and super excited to be one day closer to meeting our new little Samuel. :) The weather is hot, overcast and cloudy…..so, maybe if we pray for a little sunshine, The Lord will allow some to peek through the clouds!!!
